United Way builds a healthy community by breaking barriers in rural areas, expanding access to nutritious food, health care and basic needs.


-  1 in 5 children are food insecure and 1 in 7 adults in Wyoming are food insure.

- 14 % of Wyoming residents under the age of 65 have no health insurance.


Lincoln Self Reliance provided 305 rides to people with disabilities for medical care/treatment in Lincoln and Uinta Counties.

 


Food Bank of Sweetwater County distributed food to 4,260 clients last year. People facing food insecurity often find it challenging to concentrate, struggle with low energy levels and may miss school or work due to health issues.
