Emergency Food & Shelter

Emergency Food & Shelter Program (EFSP) was established by Congress in 1983, in response to the 1982 Recession, which brought to light that public and charitable institutions at the state and local levels could not adequately respond to the nation’s homeless and food insecurity crises without Federal support.

Volunteer

Volunteering allows you to connect with your community and make it a better place. It can also provide relationship building opportunities for families and co-workers. In addition to our volunteer opportunities, many of our community partners need volunteers as well. Contact them directly for more information.
